UNCLOAK THE INNER GENIUS. The saying resonates in the ears of all Pathibharians. Pathibhara Talent Hunt is not only a talent show program but a tradition of PATHIBHARA. As always, PTH-2079 was organized this year and the program was a super success. The students of all levels participated with zest and vigor surpassing the Auditions, Quarter Final, Semi Final and the Grand Finale. The final was conducted on 24th of Bhadra (Grade 2-10) and 26th of Bhadra (PG- Grade 1) in a joint program organized for the celebration of Childrens’ Day and Education Day 2079. There was a valuable presence of Managing Director of PSS, Sir Nirmal Rijal and the members of Board of Directors, Ma’am Chandika Bhandari, Ma’am Nirmala Rijal and Sir Roman Kattel.
Almost 150 students were awarded with trophies, medals and certificates for excelling in their respective art forms.
The season kicked off with the entries of almost 350 students for auditions in different categories. The best ones were selected in each round until the top four were remaining to perform in the Grand Finale. Pathibhara Talent hunt brings joy and festive vibes during the entire course of time. What makes the program unique is the involvement of the external jury members who are professionals in their respective art forms. One of the judges, ma’am Richa Kafle in her closing remarks added, “The winners took lead by an inch. That’s how competition works. But nobody is lesser than anybody here.” Likewise, Mr. Ishwari Pd. Sigdel talked about the essence of movement and expressions in dance. Ma’am Anju Regmi, Director of DCIS, Biratnagar also expressed that the judgement of the contestants here in Pathibhara was one of the toughest thing to do as the strongest and the weakest performers are hard to identify and it’s not a cup of tea for the ordinary eyes.
The program concluded with the address of the Principal, Sir Gopal Shrestha. He appreciated the energy and talent that the young kids possess. He also mentioned that the school is in the constant quest of recognizing and nurturing the young talents other than improving the academics. “The organization promises that the talents here are nurtured well and also makes sure that the platform is provided. The school shall come up with many more future programs so that there is the exposure of students’ geniuses in the community and international level. Each one of us is entrusted with the responsibilities to develop our inherent potentialities for the very purpose we are born”, said Mr. Shrestha.
With the conclusion of PTH-2079, students now prepare for Second Terminal Examination followed by a month- long vacation.
